  15. C)omment to Sysop.................Will allow you to enter a message to 
  16.                                   the sysop. This message will be marked 
  17.                                   as Private, with a subject of "User 
  18.                                   Comment" automatically. Using this menu 
  19.                                   item is easier if you just want to make 
  20.                                   a quick comment to the sysop.
  21. E)nter a new message..............Selecting this menu command will allow 
  22.                                   you to leave a new message to someone 
  23.                                   on the system. You will be asked who it 
  24.                                   is to, what the subject is, and if it 
  25.                                   is a Private message. Once you have 
  26.                                   confirmed that the system has the 
  27.                                   correct information, the screen will 
  28.                                   clear so that you can enter the text of 
  29.                                   the message. Using <Enter> when on a 
  30.                                   blank line will stop the editor ans ask 
  31.                                   if you want to send the message.
  32. R)ead messages....................Selecting this command will prompt you
  33.                                   to enter a message number to start the 
  34.                                   message reading sequence from.  Choosing 
  35.                                   enter will take you back to the first 
  36.                                   public message that you are eligible to 
  37.                                   read, and from thereon take you message 
  38.                                   by message thru the mail.
  39. N)ew Mail.........................If you were notified that you had New 
  40.                                   Mail waiting when you logged on, you 
  41.                                   can use this menu command to read that 
  42.                                   new mail.
  43. M)essage Search...................Will present you with another prompt that 
  44.                                   allows you to search through all messages 
  45.                                   for a specific addressee, sender or subject.

  52. T)ransfer Protocol................Selecting this command will bring up the 
  53.                                   transfer protocol menu, from which you may 
  54.                                   select a default file transfer protocol. 
  55.                                   When you first log on to the system, your 
  56.                                   default is set to none, and the system 
  57.                                   will prompt you on each file transfer for 
  58.                                   the protocol to use. If you have selected 
  59.                                   a default, and decide that you would 
  60.                                   rather be prompted each time, pressing 
  61.                                   <Enter> at Protocol prompt will set your 
  62.                                   default back to none.
  63. F)iles List.......................Will prompt you with another line 
  64.                                   requesting your specifications.  
  65.                                   Wildcards are O.K. to use here, and 
  66.                                   depending on your access level, you will 
  67.                                   be able to see all files available for 
  68.                                   you to download.
  69. D)ownload files...................Will prompt you for the files you wish to 
  70.                                   download, including extensions, as well as 
  71.                                   the transfer protocol you wish to use.  
  72.                                   ZMODEM is usually best if you have it.   
  73. U)pload files.....................Will prompt you for the name of your file 
  74.                                   to upload, including extension, as well 
  75.                                   as the transfer protocol you wish to use.

  77. B)ulletin Listings................Will present you with all the system news 
  78.                                   files and bulletins in date order [newest 
  79.                                   bulletin first].  These are the same 
  80.                                   bulletins and news that you had the 
  81.                                   opportunity to see when you first logged 
  82.                                   onto the system.  It's a good idea to 
  83.                                   periodically check these bulletins for 
  84.                                   details of late breaking news and other 
  85.                                   information.

  92. H)elp with commands...............Presents you with this information.
  93. W)rite/change your info...........This selection will prompt you for any 
  94.                                   changes you wish to make to your system 
  95.                                   settings including your password, ANSI 
  96.                                   settings, address and telephone numbers.
  97. V)iew your settings...............Will give you the time you came on-line, 
  98.                                   and the other settings that affect your 
  99.                                   usage.
  100. P)age the Sysop...................Page the sysop, and request a livechat
  101.                                   online with him.  Note that it may take
  102.                                   up to 30 seconds or so to find out if 
  103.                                   the sysop is available.  If he is not, 
  104.                                   you will get a message to the effect, 
  105.                                   and can contiue by leaving a message 
  106.                                   for him, or returning to the main menu. 
  107. G)oodbye..........................To log off the system.

  119. O)pen Mail Manager................This menu command will call up the mail 
  120.                                   manager portion of the utilities 
  121.                                   script, and allow you to search the 
  122.                                   message base, delete old messages, and 
  123.                                   pack the message base. (available only 
  124.                                   during local log ins.)
  125. A)bort GHOST BBS..................Allows you to shut down the BBS facility,
  126.                                   and switch to regular 
  127.                                   telecommunications functions.

  149. All users for their first time logging onto the board will have a limited 
  150. access level, allowing you only to do a few of the above functions.  Once 
  151. your registration information has been confirmed and verified, we will 
  152. automatically increase your access level to normal user, usually, within 
  153. two days. You will notice the change in the log on message, telling you 
  154. that your user status is no longer * New User * or * Limited User *, but
  155. * Validated User *. This will give you standard level access, permitting 
  156. downloading, uploading etc....  There is also an Advanced User Access level 
  157. permitting nearly unlimited access to areas of the BBS.  Only the sysop(s), 
  158. current staff, or associates will be given this access level.
